Bringing Forth Brilliance

And so it begins.

As we dawn another “1” year numerologically, a full year of beginnings...

The Inspire Company formally launches.

I received the vision (literally) of “inspire” – and all its accompanying “words” – in our last “1” year, 2008.

That first day, I searched online to find what maybe the vision could be about – only to find nothing.  Except snagging the domain name: theinspirecompany.com. :)

The concept was new.  It was apparently for me to do.  I didn’t know in the beginning what the PURPOSE of these messages were to be – I was only given the initial “look” of the inspire word with a symbol on the second “i” of the word. Was it a brand? A movement?  Somehow what I SAW was to combine with what I HEARD years before:

“Feed the masses our wisdom, Dear One, for the purpose of bringing forth their greatness.”

The “inspire” vision/directive came on a very auspicious day: 8-8-08.  Since that first day of nabbing the domain name, it has undergone a ridiculous amount of concept overhauls, curiosities, stalls for months at a time (underscoring the ineffectiveness of resistance), “informal launches”, transitions in support teams, more annoying “word” and website copy rewrites than is reasonable – all to uncover/discover the VALUE for those this work is to speak to.  The damn thing wouldn’t leave me alone.

Meaningful, wise colleagues, friends and some of my coaches eventually got through to me that this vision was given to me purposely.  I am the messenger of this concept.  No one else.  Just figure it out and do it.

Being a mom, coach, team leader, master teacher/master healer (palmisty), of course my job is to bring forth the brilliance in others.

I needed to combine that charge along with what I’ve come to learn professionally after thousands of hours working with the human condition.

The common denominator:  People are simply seeking happiness.

Hundreds of journal pages (it's been years after all) and the purpose of what this message of the "inspire" finally appeared in its simplicity:

Inspired, happy, fulfilled people...

  • do what they authentically LOVE
  • don’t go home to yell at the kids and kick the dog
  • are at peace within themselves to some higher degree
  • create a ripple effect -- their joy and brilliance infects those around them at a much higher vibration
  • are not victims to their circumstances

Boom. They live what The Inspire Company is about:

Be inspired. Live happy. Pass it on.

Yet, there are many who still seek what makes them happy.  They don't know how to uncover/discover what inspires them.

The Inspire Company offers a format for uncovering what may be the very thing that will Rock.Your.Life!

Check out the daily "WORD"s (Wild Outrageous Relentless Desire™) which offer thoughts and action ideas to help you bring forth your brilliance, and a life of fulfillment and meaning. Maybe a specific WORD is yours, maybe it's not.  Keep going - there will be another option tomorrow.

“Relentless” because what you are seeking is also seeking you.

Give it a shot because you won't know if "dance inspires" if you don't dance, will you?

Despite no functioning website (yet), you can find theinspirecompany daily “inspire words” along with some specific direction on facebook, twitter and instagram.

As for me, my personal word for 2017 is “brilliance”.

brilliance inspires

In some way, theinspirecompany may provide a tactic for YOU to Bring Forth Your Brilliance.

When lavender essential oil motivates (vs. relaxes)

It’s not every day that one gets to experience the harvesting of some of the highest quality lavender essential oil available on earth.

Well, it’s happening in my dream-come-true world in Bulgaria in July – seven short months away!

Last year, doTERRA International, the world’s largest essential oil company, opened a state-of-the-art distillery in Bulgaria, called Esseterra.  I thought that was a cool name because my doTERRA® team’s name is “essence inspires”, well, because it does.

Later, the first time I saw a picture of that distillery – which appeared to me to look like a really nice pole shed equipped with super high-tech equipment out in the middle of the country – I thought, “I have to go there.”  I don’t know if it’s my Slavic (Polish) heritage or WI farm girl background or my gardening addiction or what…that place just called me.

Fast forward to attending my 5th annual doTERRA® convention in September.  I mention the number of years, because I truly never saw long lines of people waiting to do something on computer screens in the Healing Hands Foundation area at the conference in prior years.

After inquiring, if found out the were purchasing tickets to be put into the lottery drawings for who can go on 2017 Co-Impact Sourcing service trips scheduled to Nepal, Guatemala and Bulgaria.  Naturally, I donated to the foundation for both of the Bulgaria trips, thinking it would increase my odds.  Weeks later, I found out my name was drawn for one of the trips!  Dang!!!!!!!!!  The instructions said that “30 of the 50” selected in the lottery for that trip that signed up at convention would be able to apply for a spot on the trip at a future date/time.

I logged in the very minute the site opened for applications (and the non-refundable deposit) and noticed there were only 9 spots left! Yikes! I typed fast enough to hit “enter” and BOOM! – nabbed a spot.  Whew!  Another sign.

Then I looked at airfare to my destination on the Black Sea.  Holy crap.  16-18 hours and a jillion dollars.  Then I paid attention to other details like the actual cost of the sourcing trip, medical stuff, travel insurance.  More than my budget…but HEY – I’ve got skills!  And seriously, what professional doesn’t want to blow 2017 out of the water?

Thus, I've created a great deal for you called, "Highlight Your Personal Best and/or Your Personal Brand" with details on the "PROMOS & EVENTS" page!  Hurry - it expires 1-30-17.

While overseas, we will be intimately involved in some form of significant Healing Hands Foundation service project for the people in Dobrich, Bulgaria (can’t wait) at the same time some of doTERRA®’s precious lavender is being harvested and distilled in their Esseterra distillery!  Geez…where’s my Kleenex as I write this…getting a bit verklempt.

When I told my mom about this trip, she said, “Dobrich” means “good” (in Polish).

I invite you to help me as I help you make 2017 more than “good”.  Let’s make it significant.

wellness inspires is 5 today!

Today is a celebration!

I have been sharing the health and lifestyle benefits with my “wellness inspires” brand – educating about doTERRA® essential oils for FIVE years!

Having been affiliated with direct sales and relationship marketing effectively since 1992 (and a superfan of the industry model, if done right), I must admit that being a Wellness Advocate with this best-in-class innovative science and education company has made this entrepreneurial journey a blast. Not only do the therapeutic grade essential oils and nutritionals WORK, the company is inventive and attentive on many fronts – a perfect match for “wellness inspires”.

From the doTERRA® founders’ principles, to the cutting edge science, the testing and quality control, the improvements in the lives of the growers’ communities all over the globe where oils are sourced, the individual and team development training and even the exquisite product packaging – all of it makes it easy to celebrate 5 years with this billion dollar wellness company.

Teaching about superconcentratedplantextracts is deeply rewarding for me! I’ve witnessed changed lives of so many – physically, emotionally and financially. Hey, who doesn’t have “stuff”?! My dynamic, growing team is spreading the word about pure and potent essential oils all over the country…and it’s only the beginning.

This IS a Happy Anniversary day. :)

A Reflection on this Mother's Day

It matters not whether you birth, love, grow or nurture people, pets, plants, communities or causes, may you and your "babies" be blessed.

30 years ago today, I was blessed with my first of 3 ongoing "life experiments" as I became a mom for the first time.

Although I'm not at the point of growth that millions of moms before me have experienced, here's what I've figured out (so far) about the experiment called "Motherhood":

 - "Urgency" will be re-defined over the years
 - Moms learn more than they teach
 - Moms laugh more than they cry
 - Repetition and reminders for skill development is important
 - Repetition and reminders for chores, curfews and skills already learned is annoying
 - A mother will grow to appreciate her mom, grandmother and other wise women
 - "All Choices have Consequences" is not the answer kids like most
 - Refrigerator "art" is meaningful
 - The sky is not falling
 - "Silence is golden" is debatable
 - A child will wake up with a temp on a day you are pitching a giant proposal
 - If you don't have a Plan B, one will be created pretty quickly
 - "No." is the shortest sentence that will generate the longest ongoing "discussion"
 - Bedtime stories matter.  So does playing chauffeur.
 - Self-care is mandatory
 - Mommy, Ma!, Mommmmmmmm, Mother, Mama, Hey Mom - is an evolution of the first word a baby says, a child's most comforting "go to" as they grow, and the words a mother will never tire of hearing
 - "I love you, Mommy" evolves to "I love you, Mom"...and will still melt your heart

Happy Mother's Day!

As I was driving back from the hospital...

...I was thinking I needed to make a facebook announcement to my friends and family that lived far away.

I didn't know at the time it would be considered a "tribute", yet at Dad's memorial service last weekend, Mom wanted my commentary framed on the tables of pictures, next to the wonderful video slide show Reed put together for Grandpa and the sturdy pine box containing the remaining physical parts of Dad, unmistakably labeled "Big John".

. . . . .

Everybody knew him as “Big John”.

My kids call him Grandpa.

The rest of us call him Dad.

He was lucky enough to meet Regina, the best life partner in the world, and adored her for 58 years of “for better or for worse”.

I was born on his 31st birthday and we shared at least 50 birthday cakes together.  Our last one was only weeks ago.

John was an incredible hunter and loved to fish.  Fish a lot.

He taught me how to take the hook out of a bullhead, rake hay, shoot a small target at a distance, snowmobile, skin rabbits and hate ice fishing.

I learned how to stay safe around power take-offs, bulls and electric fences (he missed on the June bugs...they still creep me out).

His disposition taught me how to play great defense...which turned out to be one of my best life skills.

He and Mom hosted a ginormous party (because Dad knew everybody) in 1979 that was “referenced” by many for decades.  Aka:  My Big Fat Polish Wedding.  That was fun.

He loved to blow things up.  Often.  The louder the better – with some mischief in his eyes every time.

Dad loved fireworks of all kinds.  All over our country tonight, he’ll likely be part of some shenanigans somewhere.

This Independence Day is so symbolic...final freedom from his body which just decided “enough is enough”.

In celebration of the freedom that our forefathers stood for in order for us to have this country, let us all remember that freedom doesn’t come without some consequences.  Ever.

So when the celebrations of our country’s independence start exploding in the sky tonight, I’m sure the loudest ones will have me reminiscing of when Dad would get the mischievous look on his face and say, “Watch this.” – the cue to cover my ears...because some sort of “boom” was on the way.

Tonight:   Big Boom = Big John.

Tomorrow he can get back to hanging out in his tree stand and fishing off the dock.

Freedom inspires, Dad.

Rest in Peace.
